Accessing the metadata API

The NIAID Data Ecosystem Discovery Portal provides a public API where you can programmatically access all of its integrated metadata. The NIAID Data Ecosystem API is designed to support data scientists, bioinformaticians, and other researchers who want to integrate or analyze metadata for infectious and immune-mediated disease research.

All metadata harvested by the Discovery Portal can be accessed via API at api.data.niaid.nih.gov/. Users can also view versions there.
